I am a general nurse with seven years of experience working with NGOs across humanitarian and healthcare settings. Being fluent in both Arabic and English has allowed me to support and connect with diverse communities in some of the most challenging environments. One of the most meaningful parts of my work has been assisting in the medical evacuation of Palestinian children—an experience that deepened my dedication to providing care in crisis situations. I’m passionate about child health, patient advocacy, and ensuring that vulnerable populations have access to the quality care they deserve.

Qahir Wassiee
I’ve worked in the humanitarian sector for over four years, raising millions in aid for those affected by some of the world’s most devastating crises. I’ve walked through disaster zones, met families holding onto hope, and helped develop projects that provide real, life-saving support. I’ve also been involved in supporting medical evacuations from Gaza and the settlement and integration of Gazans here in Ireland. My work with the Gaza People Care Initiative (GPCI) is a reflection of my ongoing commitment to stand with Gaza and help create lasting, meaningful impact.
